Avatar the Last Air Bender; the Fire Nation War
(This game takes place 88 years before the television show: Aang <the> has just disappeared)
In a lost age the known world is divided into four equal powers: Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation and Air Nomads. In each nation there’s a group of gifted people known as Benders who have the ability to manipulate their native element using martial arts and elemental magic. For thousands of years the nations lived together peacefully. But then disaster struck. The young ambitious ruler of the Fire Nation, Fire Lord Sozin, began a war of world conquest. The only one who could have prevented it was the Avatar. The Avatar is the human incarnation of the spirit of the world; he alone can master bending all four elements. But he has disappeared and the war has begun.
The Fire Nation launches a genocidal campaign on the Air Nomads. The current Fire Lord Sozin did this because after killing Avatar Roku, who was native to the Fire Nation, he realized the next one would come from the Air Nomads according to the Avatar cycle. This way he could ensure the next Avatar would not try and foil his plot for world domination just as Avatar Roku had done.
The arrival of Sozin’s Comet signal the start of the Fire Nation’s War. The comet was renamed after the Fire Nation attacked, originally it was called the Hanku Comet and it was time of great religious celebration. It was a symbol of renewal and atonement.

Unity Island Story
It was called the isle of Ro-suku after the man who had discovered the island. He was a great adventurer who fell in love with the island and after a long career he returned with his family to settle the island. Ro-suku was from the Earth nation but he welcomed all families from all clans and tribes to help settle the island, he hated all the political posturing and bickering between clans and nations. He believed that everyone was equal and he soon attracted like minded people building a small thriving community.
He had managed to get the people to settle there for new beginning but they also brought years and years of indoctrination and tensions so the community soon unintentionally settle by clans or tribe sectors. This sadden Ro-suku try as he might he could get them to trust each other fully. Life on the island settled down to uneasy routine in their daily lives.
Then one fateful day the weather turned very ugly, a great storm a rose everyone on the island was prepared and easily survived the brunt of the storm, but this storm came with an extra twist. The sky was clear and the sun was shining there was a lot of clean up and they were working together to clean up. Unbeknownst to anyone there had been a huge underwater landslide causing a huge tsunami wave. Everyone on the island thought the worst had passed and that’s when it hit. The shoreline pulled away it was the only warning they were to receive. There was a wall of water rushing towards the people. Cries for help came from all on the community. Ro-suku rallied the people of all clans working together they saved as many as they could pulling them from the rushing water. Many died that day but many were saved through unified cooperation of the clans and benders. Tragically Ro-suku died trying to save some children who drowned with him. But his death had inspired the people to rally behind his dream. Together they rebuilt the community but with no divisional lines between clans soon they became friends and mixed family lines and all old doctrines were gone, the island was renamed, ‘Unity Island’ to honor the man who’s vision for a better future brought them together to realize there was a better way to live.
Since then the people and the island have faced many storms but through team work grew stronger. The people of the island have become an oddity for the rest Rokugan. The island inhabitant’s no longer give a thought to intertribal relationships and some do not like that idea and don’t want it spread
